Freight Elevators
Heavy-duty lifting solutions for your
business needs without compromise.
Our industrial freight elevators cost less than standard industrial lifts while delivering the same reliability. Built for warehouses, distribution centers, and factories, they provide powerful performance without the high price tag.
Our warehouse lift solutions feature reinforced components and simplified maintenance access, delivering reliable vertical transport even in extreme temperatures, high-dust conditions, and corrosive environments.
With a minimal footprint handling up to 1,000 lbs in tight spaces, these are perfect for confined industrial areas and facilities where standard freight elevators won’t fit.
We’re so excited to help bring your lift project to life! Because every setup is unique, your quote will be based on details like the lift height, delivery location, and a few other specifics. Don’t worry—our friendly team is here to create a custom plan just for you. Just fill out our quick quote form, and we’ll get back to you with everything you need!
A freight elevator is designed specifically for transporting heavy goods, equipment, or merchandise rather than people. These elevators are built for strength and reliability, making them ideal for commercial, industrial, or retail settings.
At Galaxy Lifts, our heavy-duty cargo lifts offer a practical alternative to traditional freight elevators. They’re perfect for safely moving materials between floors in warehouses, garages, barns, or businesses—without the need for major structural modifications. If you need a reliable solution for vertical transport, our cargo lifts are a smart, space-efficient choice.
Freight elevators vary significantly in size based on their intended application. At Galaxy Lifts, we offer multiple options ranging from our compact Shuttle model (40″ x 40″ x 46″ basket with 1,000 lbs capacity) to our heavy-duty Voyager HD (87.5″ x 54.25″ x 46″ basket with 1,200 lbs capacity). Our systems can travel from 17 feet (Shuttle) up to 27 feet (Voyager HD) vertically.
Freight elevators are built to handle heavy-duty tasks and differ from standard passenger elevators in several key ways. They typically have larger weight capacities, more spacious cabins, and tougher finishes to withstand the demands of moving heavy goods. The door systems are often manual or industrial-style, and the overall design focuses more on function than appearance.
While passenger elevators prioritize comfort and aesthetics for transporting people, freight elevators are designed for performance and durability—making them ideal for commercial or industrial use. At Galaxy Lifts, our cargo lift systems offer many of the same benefits as freight elevators, with simpler installation and a more compact footprint.
We purchased a Voyager lift from Galaxy Lifts to use basically like a utility lift to our upstairs attic/storage. The sales staff and installation personnel were amazing. They were extremely helpful in choosing which model would work best for our needs. I would definitely recommend this product and Galaxy Lifts if you are in the market for such a purchase.
I just had my Galaxy cargo lift installed last week. They were very quick to deliver and setup my lift. I’m extremely happy with everything, and it has been a life saver moving everything into my new house that is 14 feet of the ground. I would definitely recommend Galaxy to anyone interested in a lift.
We had a great experience with Galaxy Lifts. The entire process from reviewing products and getting a quote, through the installation, was smooth and easy. The installation crew was professional, efficient, and fast! The crew arrived in the morning and by mid-afternoon they were finished. We did a walk-through of all the operations and safety features before they left. We are also impressed with the quality of the Voyager + cargo lift. The whole assembly is rock-solid, and it’s built to last. We used to move a lot of heavy items up and down the stairs, but no more! The Galaxy lift does all the heavy lifting now and we love it.
